This past weekend our little family took Friday off work and headed down to Portland Oregon to celebrate one of my college roommates marrying her best friend. I appreciated hearing her authenticity in her wedding vows-- watching her declare her love to her now-husband and stating what a supportive man he has been for her. I hope for them all the happiness marriage brings and enjoyed being able to celebrate their commitment to each other. Their wedding venue was west of Portland in the Hillsboro area. I didn't know that so close to Portland is expansive farmland with beautiful views. It was very classy. Neil had lots of favorite parts of the wedding, but I believe his top-favorite part was finding a tractor nearby and mom letting him climb up in it and pretend to drive it.
